Don't blame the messenger - if the BBC don't have an asset database or compliance system that is their failing.
They should have had such information to hand. Do you think they are so slipshod on keeping their buildings insurance up to date? On the other hand if they simply think TV Licencing is not that important, I'd love them to say so. Anyway, they lost their bid for horse racing, so it will now be free to air on channel 4 and not funded by the TV Tax - so we can expect a small rebate... can't we?
