There is a problem, which I believe is now fixed. 1) Grab: pub/e-smith/contrib/GordonRowell/RPMS/noarch/e-smith-lib-1.7.0-22.noarch.rpm pub/e-smith/contrib/GordonRowell/RPMS/noarch/e-smith-samba-1.1.0-20.noarch.rpm 2) Upgrade these RPMs on your box 3) /sbin/e-smith/expand-template /etc/smb.conf 4) /etc/init.d/smb reload 5) Go to the manager and set your system password Note: You _must_ (under the current version of Samba) use "root" and the root/admin password as the user on the WinNT/2K client to allow the machine to join the domain. The "domain admin group" parameter doesn't work - see the e-smith-samba changelog for details.
