In the SME server-manager there is a setting in "Other e-mail settings" which allows users to forward mail to unknown users to admin. If you decide to do that then your code should allow mail to all users to pass through to qmail for processing. Your code should check the following in /home/e-smith/configuration: EmailUnknownUser=admin / return and act accordingly. I've even been able to help you with (a tiny) part of the solution.
