Not from where I sit. There's never been any sanction here against community development of core features (as you should know, as we collaborated with you, Darrell and perhaps others here to improve samba support). What has been made clear is that Mitel publishes what Mitel chooses to. That doesn't prevent anyone else from making and publishing their own changes. We've always encouraged people to submit patches.
