"Uniformity is important" The funny thing is that the umbrella company is the one with 5 people in it whereas we have Unix/Dovecot/Procmail/Thunderbird/Webmail interfaces that work for over 500 people ... (the 160 are just one company)
as it happens I think the price tag might cause them to rethink ... 160 licenses (as "Core CAL"s) is about £101,000, on top of the hardware needed, plus the man-power, plus the training, and the fact that it will take at least 6 months to deploy ... We're looking at approx £200,000 to get an integrated calendar app ... Funny thing is that _my_ Thunderbird (with Lightning) works fine with outlook invitations, it's the people on Apple PC's or those working on their phones that appear to be having the most trouble. I'm still hoping I can torpedo this thing before too much happens.
