I also made the conscious decision to work with the new IT director, and if he says we do it, then we will find a way, but it might well end up being an SEP (Someone Else's Problem) Jon On 29 September 2015 at 08:21, Nikolam <[email protected]> wrote: > I suggest you resign form that "company" and find a job elsewhere. > Mindless decisions like this hurt people, companies and are bringing them > to their demise, anyway. > Leaving the reason on your resignation that board decision is mindless > could work on not going to Exchange/MS licensing hell. > > Alternatively, you can run VM's with Windows server inside and all > licensing c* > Or you can call for support for your illumos distro, that as a company > surely you already have paying? > > On Mon, Sep 28, 2015 at 7:08 PM, Jonathan Adams <[email protected]> > wrote: > >> "Uniformity is important" >> >> The funny thing is that the umbrella company is the one with 5 people in >> it whereas we have Unix/Dovecot/Procmail/Thunderbird/Webmail interfaces >> that work for over 500 people ...
