I have the extension packs for 5.1.30 and 5.2.2. My understanding is that you install the extension pack AFTER you have installed an OS. I've tried Win 7, Ubuntu and CentOS, none of which would install under Hipster. The Linux distros produced a "no bootable media" message. I have VBox working using Win 7 as the host OS with CentOS as a guest. Didn't have any problems doing that, so I'm a bit mystified why it won't work with Hipster as the host. I'd really appreciate some information about how well USB access works for the guests. I really don't want to spend a lot of time sorting out Hipster and VBox only to find that the USB devices which only have Windows drivers, won't work with Hipster as the host. I can think of a lot of reasons why they would not work. -------------------------------------------- On Mon, 12/11/17, Gary <[email protected]> wrote: Subject: Re: [discuss] Installing Win 7 as a guest in VBox on Hipster? There's a link to it & its license on the main download page.
