I don't have a normal Windows install disk. The only means I have of doing
this is from a system image file. The only reason I even have that is the
basic disks came with the off lease system I bought to run Solaris 10.

One problem I've discovered is that the image I was using is too big. It has
all the EE CAD stuff installed. So I've started working on that.

I'm still puzzled why I'm having trouble with CentOS. I installed CentOS on
Win 7, but an attempt at a reinstall fails. So something is not quite right in
the default setup

Unfortunately, all the How Tos I've found online have been pretty old and
incomplete.

The Hipster on Hipster install worked just fine, so that lets Illumos off the
hook. Whatever the problem is, it's not being caused by Hipster. So time to
join the VBox forums.

Thanks,
Reg
