The School of Design at Carnegie Mellon University has been teaching
Interaction Design since the mid-nineties. The first graduating class
from the Masters of Design in Interaction Design program was in 1996.

The Interaction Design Institute Ivrea, which ran from 2001 through
2005 also taught Interaction Design.

Several members on the list share an educational background through
one of these programs.
