VortexBox is a brilliant idea. I don't fully understand it, but unless
I'm mistaken it's totally headless. I'd be packaging a VNC-style app (or
just having easy process to set up a VNC client), and running a head on
the Linux, VortexBox branded of course! I just think this will increase
the market - I like the idea of the system but a turn off was that *if*
anything goes wrong, I don't have the .nix ghoulies to sort it out from
a command line. I'm young enough and thick enough to feel like a desktop
*IS* the OS.

Of course - that could be a configurable option as a previous poster
mentioned. Obviously I'm just a punter - I'm sure your approach has VERY
good reasons and no-one likes a punter with ideas they think are great.

And I might sound like a bit of a knob, but would you consider making
it LOOK better. Form factor is a big deal for a device that could likely
end up in the prosumer living room. Nowaday's it's a black box. This is
not wife/girlfriend/partner friendly.

Like others I don't speak from the perspective of a potential customer.
I was a potential customer but I finally got scared by headless because
I wanted to use it also as a basic fileserver. I hope that helps and is
a window into your potential market. I also know that advice like mine
is frustrating to developers since you chose what you chose for the best
reasons - maybe I am just not meant to be your market!
