I would add the following: 1. some way of editing tags after ripping, this would have to be remotely via a web interface. 2. MusicBrainz integration for tags (FreeDB is dreadful) 3. MusicIP installed, and configurable via web interface to analyse the library 4. web interface to "upload" files to the vortexbox. This is more than just a file drop, it will invoke a rescan of the music library as well. 5. after ripping the CD, the album art is retrieved and added to the folder. (my preference would be to embed the album art in the tag, but that makes maintenance more difficult - squeezecenter "find album art" works with the cover.jpg in the directory, and does not update embedded art)
