If you're concerned with waste, buy downloads. You don't need to agree with my comments about declining music output and financial issues for performers and production companies. It's not my opinion, check out your favorite news source or have a conversation with any performing musician. Any one will tell you the same story, there's little or no money to be made producing albums. Even for those who self-produce and distribute. If you're happy with your own smug rationalization, fine. Your logic doesn't work for me.
