Ah, just tried a third machine, WinXP, without madflac or WAMP and 0.9-204 - it plays back fine. Also just tried a Win7 machine without madflac or WAMP - it also plays back fine. Perhaps a conflict somewhere? I wouldn't think an extra decoder would mess things up?
