Hi, I had the problem that lirc did not work when display or LCD was not enabeld. Either lirc was not possible in daemon mode. I made some changes so it's now possible to use lirc in daemon mode and without display or LCD. It runs stable on my dockstar (if anybody is interested in the arm makefile I can post it also). ralphy feel free to add it to the source repository.
