Well, many thanks for this discussion, this has been interesting. I'm now trying out last.fm and have added the scrobbler plugins for slimserver and foobar2000.
Just one thing: Snarlydwarf mentioned a "LastFM" module for slim... I can't see anything like this on the Plugins page, have I missed something?
