I guess the world is passing me by. Neither my wife nor I have ever had a cell phone or tablet. Personally the thought of constantly being available, which I think is the curse of the cell phone, repels me. I like technology but I like to leave it at home when I go out. The thought of texting people, receiving calls from telemarketers or other unwanted calls far outweighs the value of these devices for me. My wife has on occasion suggested dropping our internet service and it is tempting but perhaps not practical
