I, like many here, use a rpi running picoreplayer as a LMS server only. That is, squeezelite disabled.
I have identical two systems, each on a rpi 3b+ with a USB HDD, and use Samba and freefilesync to manage a mirror of my music library (on my PC) on the rpi HDD. So, when I add a new "album" to my library I just run ffs, and rescan LMS. Like Paul mentioned, about $60USD, then add $50USD for a HDD or more if SS HDD Jim PS - A little off topic, but I also use the rpi/HDD as a backup for me PC files, also using ffs. That is, my photos, documents, etc. So, for your $ you also get another backup for your important files. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Redrum's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114758 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
