Hi,

While this explanation seems helpful, I wonder if there is an even quicker way that moving a song to a playlist could be accomplished. I have about 9 or 10 thousands songs in my library and, while I have some playlists, they need some work and, constructing playlists in this way would be difficult.

I wonder if there is a script or process through which a keyboard shortcut could be created to automatically move a song to a certain playlist if I selected it. So, say for example I have an 80's playlist, a 90's playlist, a rock playlist, a classical music list, Etc. Now, would there be a way that I could set it up so command 1 moved a track to the 80's list, command 2 moved the selected song to the 90's list, Etc.

Just curious if something like this could be done?

Hi all,

For those of you afraid to creat playlists, They are easy.

Here's an example of how easy it can be.

1. with ITunes open, press command-n to creat a new playlist. type in your
title and press enter.
2> find one item you want to put in it, vo-shift-m on it and down arrow to
copy and press vo space.
3> find your playlist and command-v to paste in your new item.

I know that playlists can become quite complex, but this should get you
started if you needed a little push.
