It's open, at least for a few more minutes, but with a new number:
        http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=61683

However, we will have to circumvent the behavioral problems exhibited by developer pjanik in order to at least discuss the bug.

54703 is a query about the nature of the eggs.
61667 is a request to disble or remove them.

Those are two very different things.

The presence of the easter eggs, as cool as they are in pre-release versions, renders the product unsuitable for use in certain environments unless there is a way to disable to eggs. Requiring and end-user or even a sysadmin to fork off a branch of the source code, find the offending bits, remove the offending bits, re-compile the whole, re-package the binary is not a reasonable nor realistic option. There needs to be a way to disable them or else just drop them.

Keep them out of the EU by writing your MEP, keep the market open.

I expect, that you're not successful with your bugreport. :(

I've included some of your comments in the bug report:
        http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=61667

You can vote for it here:
        http://www.openoffice.org/issues/showvotes.cgi?voteon=61667

Your issue is already closed and marked as an duplicate of this issue:
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=54703

But this issue is already closed. :( So it looks, like you and Ian (and
all the others) aren't really successful with your bugreport.
