Are you sure you're not overreacting?
All that Antoine is saying is that hg.p.o is not a professional hosting
service, and the more repositories we have, the more (potential) requests
we may get that have to be processed. If you can wait a few days for a
new hook to be installed -- then everything is fine.
I assume you'll just clone the distlib repo on BitBucket. I'm happy to wait.
I've cloned the bitbucket.org/vinay.sajip/distlib repo to hg.python.org/distlib.
At the moment no hooks are set up; let me know if you want e.g. email
notification, CIA or roundup integration.
