Hi Greg I'm guessing the Belgium Registry is having some trouble. Can we get an update on the situation from your end? I got the feeling they were a little unprepared for the number of requests/applications yesterday. Another registrar was quoted quite widely as saying "they wouldn't suggest applying for more than 500 per nic handle" which didn't help.
It would be interesting to know roughly how many domains Tucows registered yesterday though. Also the Tucows API check on .be is still falsely reporting. I know this is a problem affecting a lot of people though, I can only find a few obscure *.be sites and Godaddy who have a working .be check now.
