Hi Wim

Not quite 17'000 registrations - that was sessions. However we're close to
3000 applications sitting here. I am pretty sure if we turn on the page (and
marketing) we could do that each day.

I like sticking with Tucows - esp. with the developments on the new CCS.
And, these are after all, free registrations. I can understand that there is
little reason to free up resources there to put them through. Basically the
only reason we can do this here is that I have so many staff. If Russians
are good at anything - it's bringing plenty of manpower (or woman power in
the case of our office, but that is another story!)

I guessed this was probably the reason I only noticed two other registrars
offering this promotion?

If we get the green light from Tucows, we'll put together a script and run
these through in larger numbers. There is obviously a demand here - if they
want that, we can bring these numbers in.

Hi Nick,

I don't see any problems with 17.000 registrations. I think DNS BE will be
very
happy to see those registrations. And I'm absolutely sure they can handle
that
load. When .be was released for everyone, they got that amount in just a few
hours. Their systems are much better now than they were in 2000, so it
shouldn't
be a problem at all.
Don't know if they haven't blocked Tucows though. Then again, if you have
17.000
.be registrations, why not become a .be agent yourself ? I'd even point you
to a
different reseller, if Tucows can't handle it properly...

Kind regards,
