I received a reply to a ticket on Tuesday this week which I waited 22 days for, which might help give an indication of wait time. I originally submitted the ticket on 2nd April and waited 6 days for the first response, this was the second, so things appear to be getting worse rather than better. My query was regarding a .eu transfer so the response arrived a day too late anyway, and the domain in question is now in quarantine. Without wishing to start a debate on the merits of using Tucows (we're still here after all), I don't mind paying a small premium for wholesale services on the basis that in times of need Tucows will be there for us, but currently the level of support we're receiving is what I would expect from a pile-em-high-sell-em-cheap registrar. Personally, I'm very disappointed as I expected better, but then maybe my expectations are too high.
