Simple answer is "yes".

OpenSRS has served us well but for many people new to the industry  
and the company it just ends up being another acronym they don't  
really understand.  Officially we refer to OpenSRS externally as  
"Tucows Domain Services".  Internally we still use the term OpenSRS  
to refer to the systems and code that the Domain Service runs on. Of  
course the name is so embedded in people's minds and the system  
itself that it will probably take years for people to completely drop  
the name.

I worked at Sony Music a few years after they changed their name  
(from CBS Records) and occasionally you'd see an old memo or log-in  
screen that said CBS Records or an old-timer would call it CBS - that  
kind of stuff.  But it was amazing how fast the majority of people  
and things switched without resorting to coercion.

So feel free to call it OpenSRS if that works for you. :)
