Hi All,
I posted this query on Ask Ubuntu and was instructed to run Boot-Repair
from a live disc, but not to run any repair tools until the analysis had
been examined by the people there. I posted this to the Ubuntu paste
bin as instructed, but the advice is 'So it looks like the |ff55| UUID
that it's complaining about is sda1, presumably the / partition'. Since
I have run extended SMART tests on both of my discs with no error, I'm
left wondering what to do next. I've asked that question on the site,
but don't expect much response until this evening, on past performance.
Is there a better way to check sda?
