Martin,

Mike is generating a patch for the version of the DRM drivers that went
out with XFree86 4.2.  The drivers in my package are from the TCL
development branch, and are not even in the trunk of the DRI tree, yet. 
It's best to wait at least until we've achieved enough stability to
merge into the trunk before we submit this functionality to the kernel
group.
