Are all your TCL colors right?
VTK (e.g. TaskParallelism, TaskParallelismWithPorts) have wrong (no colors) on 
the (inner) object polygons. R200_NO_TCL fix it.

Charl, can you reproduce?

Have you ever tried with several OpenGL apps in parallel?
5 times gears (no system load at all ;-) and then only one ipers => hard lock 
up on my SMP system ;-(
Texture vs. no texture thing?
