Pascal-Nicolas Becker commented on DS-1642 Create new user process needs improvement We'll use LDAP or Shibboleth with university wide accounts and single sign on. We have a university wide portal and want to integrate DSpace. Users will log in to enter the portal and click on "DSpace". They won't recognize DSpace as a service on its own, more as a part of an university wide service. A message "welcome to ..." would confuse them. The option not to send a welcome mail would be good for us.
