If you can find it (it's old), the USR XJAEM3336 made by 3Com (though it was
originally made by Megahertzm which was then bought out by USR, which was taken over
by 3com, etc) is great. It's kind of a compromise. The phone cord goes into their
proprietary "X-jack" which pops out of the card, but the ethernet cable needs to be
attached to a dongle. This works great for me since I have a dongle at the office and
at home for Ethernet, and when I travel I only need the modem. The downside is that
it's only 33.6 and not 56k. There's a 56k version out but I don't think Mac drivers
are available.

Good luck,
Ed
