Sorry for going off-topic on you folks, but I know
we have a bunch of erudite, sophisticated world
travelers here who can help me with an answer to
my daughters situation. I know we also have some
Australians on board (g)
She will be at the University of Sydney this coming
semester and has been advised to not bring her
computer with her for, among other things, security
reasons. Of course, that leaves her without her own
personal version of NetScape Mail and her AddressBook.
She also will not have access to her own, personal ISP.
She will have access to computers on the University
campus and perhaps those of braver students, who chose
to ignore the warning to not bring them, will allow her to
check E-mail on their laptops. Do any of you world travelers
have a *fix* for logging on and checking E-mail and perhaps
some means to have an AddressBook set up somewhere, so
she does not have to keep a notebook of all her E-mail
addresses?
Thanks, in advance, for any suggestions I can pass to her.
She is really looking forward to 6 months Down Under, but,
is bummed out that she will not have her PowerBook with
her.
