AMD K-6 350 ? Why not just go for the 550 it's only $89 boxed processor!
Let's hope it was less than $500. I just rebuilt my husbands Dell PC $89
for the FIC 1st mainboard (motherboard) and $89 for the boxed 550 AMD K-6
with 3-D now. Cost about $180. And works great.
You do have a point on this it cost me twice that much to up grade My
Desktop Mac to a G-3.

I'm not trying to convince anyone to switch to PCs or anything, I used to be
one of you guys, I loved my mac and wouldnt touch a PC, but eventually I was
forced to use some PCs and figured out that I prefer them over Macs. It's a
matter of opinion....both systems have their merits. I just get sick of Mac
people dissing on PCs.
