Dear Tom,
>I teach computers in a High School and the PC's are always in need of
>something
>or other, while the Mac's almost never need any work. You PC folks have
>been brainwashed into thinking that working on your computer is normal
>and just because you can (or are forced into learning) fix them yourself,
>then everything is OK. I want to use my computer, not have it as a constant
>repair project.
You hit the nail on the head! I often hear "Macs are expensive" from pc
users. Looking at it from the other side, you could say, "pc's are
cheap." There is something low grade about pc's. Rather like a Yugo. They
look cheap, they feel cheap. Windows itself looks and feels cheap too. It
honestly does. It's like a job half done.
The reason I like the Mac OS and Mac hardware is, to be honest, I am not
interested in computers. I am only interested in WHAT I CAN DO WITH
COMPUTERS. And there is a big difference. Using a Mac I can concentrate
on what I am doing without worrying about the computer.
Yours sincerely,
John Davis
