We aren't going to place any "namesquatting"-type restrictions on  
things. First come, first served, whether you create the account with  
an invite or pay the $3 to create the account. (Unless, of course, we  
notice actual serious problems like someone setting up a cottage  
industry to buy large blocks of popular names and then resell them  
for a higher amount, etc: reselling a username is a violation of our  
Terms of Service, and will be dealt with appropriately.)

So, create the accounts however you need to, whether that's through  
getting an invite from somebody or buying a month of paid time for  
them, and don't worry about it!
