Dave, I agree with your comments on the M issue.
This is a show stopper in my opinion. I do not see how I can manage sending off QSL cards if Lotw uploads are displayed as M in the DXCC Listing. This makes no sense. M should only appear when an actual QSL has been printed and mailed. Should have nothing to do with uploads to Lotw or eQSL. I upload to Lotw frequently and often wait for a while before I send a QSL. These uploaded contacts should continue to be listed as W like they were in 7.07. I have found another problem. The worked cutoff (Files, Preferences, Personal) no longer appears to work. In version 7.07 I had the worked cutoff set for 3650 days (10 years). This value converted over in 8.0, but the cutoff is not working. My DXCC summary totals now show a much higher number for Total Worked due to this issue. When I go back to 7.07 and change the value to 0 for worked cutoff, I get the same number of Total Worked as in ver 8.0 with the value set to 3650. I may have to revert back to 7.07 for a while and let the dust settle.
