I'm bumping into this thread half-assed but quick question...did you mix the
different forms...i.e., install some libs from source targz's and the others
from RPM?? RPM has a database it needs and it won't detect packages
installed from built sources... you really have to pick one or the other.
Sorry if I got things confused , I just recall you saying you usually build
from sources but had also used RPMS... and wanted to make sure they weren't
mix-matched. If they were that could be part of the problem...if not...it's
cause I'm confused from too much mail and I am getting this thread mixed up
with something else and I apologize... :-)
