Make sure to install the imrc and im_palette.pal files from the latest
Imlib (the one you d/l'd), and make sure Imlib is compiling with the
right libraries linked in. Also, check if you are getting any error
or status messages to stderr/stdout (.xsession-errors, .xlog, or
something like that).
