I hate to state the obvious but isn't the purpose of setting up the eCTA to
gain members of high ethical standards, and in doing so gain the confidence
of the clients that use the member exchange cambio etc because they are
members of the eCTA.
Then you read the stuff like that below and it sounds like a Professional
Boys Club just like the A.M.A. the Bar Association where they are all
protect each others back.
Like these to high light two:
> > 6. I promise to support my fellow members in adversity to the best of my
> > ability
What sort of adversity? Are they being investigated? Why? etc etc etc ?
>> 7. I promise to maintain my allegiance to the Association and
> > it's members.
Until when? What if decisions made are in the interest of the members but
not the clients they serve?
As I said earlier the whole reason for an association like the eCTA is to
gain customer/client confidence.
Gear your documentation to serve the customer and make membership in this
association something to be valued by the Market Makers, Exchanges, Cambio's
etc etc etc.
Then you would be on the right track.
Until then what you have is a Professional Boys Club that has no value of
association to the customer.
Regards Jess
