thanks, JP - you're saying it's a perception thing right? skip ahead 20 years...
the world's economy is handled using various forms of electronic gold. just about everyone uses it. however there are a few oddballs out there - they use this currency call FReNs. (the majority call them Note-bugs.) there is a service where you can own FReNs. however, since most of the world uses gold, the FReN service lets you denominate your spends in grams of gold, and maintains a "spot" price in AUG / 10,000 FReNs. there are a few businesses that will actually exchange to/from your FReNs for real money (gold). there is an argument amongst these businesses...which is better... should we buy the FReNs at "spot", or should we buy at spot less a few percent? there is this old bald rich paunchy dude, JMR, that argues the latter - thats how its been done for eons! there is this older more rich less paunchy dude JPM that argues the former - the FReN newbies expect to get spot! and then there is this other dude that explains how in 20 years we'll still be arguing about it. ;) --- You are currently subscribed to e-gold-list as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Use e-gold's Secure Randomized Keyboard (SRK) when accessing your e-gold account(s) via the web and shopping cart interfaces to help thwart keystroke loggers and common viruses.
