You have no idea how close we came, however, another translator
implementation two years after the first (we bought TLE because our
previous software had Y2K issues) did not sit well with anyone. We decided
to tough this out and keep nipping at their heels about service and
software issues.
I hoped that their aquisition by Peregrine (not sure of their
service/support reputation) would be a positive thing and that they can get
their preverbial act together.
In fairness to them, I am pleased with their open architecture and their
software's functionality (when it works the way it should). They beat out
some pretty tough competition in our eyes--and we are not easy to please.
I think they have a long way to go in the areas of support, service and
customer relations--and as a paying customer I intend to stay on top of them
to ensure we get what we pay for.
