Elizabeth A. Bryant of UPS Logistics Group Canada Limited is asking
about Reverse Logistics: "...what transactions are you using to have the
products picked up, received into the warehouse and notify the client
what has occurred?" Denny Boynton asks "Wazzat?"

If logistics is the science of getting junk and stuff to the customer,
then "reverse" logistics must be the reverse: taking the junk off their
hands - i.e., handling returns. The X12 180 Transaction Set - Return
Merchandise Authorization and Notification - is described in "Going
Backwards: Reverse Logistics Trends and Practices," at the Reverse
Logistics Executive Council at http://www.rlec.org/.
