Earl, I think the answer is yes, but.....actually, EDIFECS, Foresight, GFEG
and others do publish the X12 standards in a different form/format. But I'm
not the expert on the rules for doing so.

Do you know what can be legally published concerning the X12 standards?
Many companies publish their sub-set of the standard, so that seems to be
allowed.

Can the spec be legally published in another format?
