And pray what is so wrong with that?

There is nothing to prevent one from continuing the search for a 'suitable' 
position whilst holding and honorably filling a
part-time job.

At least that part-time job (or two) can put a roof over your head and food on 
the table, which is a hell of a lot more than whining
will do.
