Wa'alaikum salam wr wb, Hadits Sahih Bukhari tentang harga seekor kambing bisa dibeli dengan 1 dinar (setara dgn Rp 1,3 juta rupiah) sudah jelas menjawab stabilitas nilai emas sebagai mata uang.
Zaman Dulu (zaman Ashabul Kahfi) dan juga zaman Nabi emas dan perak sudah biasa dipakai sebagai mata uang. Sebaliknya mata uang kertas kita tahu sangat tidak stabil. Tahun 1990 kita bisa naik bis dengan tarif Rp 100. Sekarang tarifnya Rp 2.500. Stabilnya nilai emas dan perak terhadap nilai komoditas lain menunjukkan bahwa pertambahannya setara dengan pertambahan jumlah penduduk. Kalau kurang, maka nilainya akan naik.
