Beginning with the FT-9000 series, Yaesu chose to use the Kenwood style
command set.  Future models should have more commonality between
commands and responses than the older models.

While not perfect, the Hamlib project exists so that program authors can
concentrate on their code and reinventing the radio control wheel.
While we have a mature code base, there is always room for improvement
and we have many contributors who have helped in various ways over the
years.  Inquiries and code are welcome.
