Beginning with the FT-9000 series, Yaesu chose to use the Kenwood style command set. Future models should have more commonality between commands and responses than the older models. While not perfect, the Hamlib project exists so that program authors can concentrate on their code and reinventing the radio control wheel. While we have a mature code base, there is always room for improvement and we have many contributors who have helped in various ways over the years. Inquiries and code are welcome. 73, de Nate, N0NB >> -- "The optimist proclaims that we live in the best of all possible worlds. The pessimist fears this is true."
