Phil,

It looks like I can't play audio through my iMic using Win7 either.  

I got a good indicator that my boom Mic was being heard when I selected 
'recording devices' and made the iMic mic the default device.  (I need to try 
to record a file and play it back.)

But first, I can't hear any sound in my headset.  It is the same headset I use 
for digital voice and the iMic with my XP computer.  I see the volume 
indicators moving up to max in the 'volume mixer' as I play a music file, but 
no sound using the iMic.
I tried various things to no avail.
