It would be for those of us that run the station remotely. It's hard to reach the tuning knobs if you aren't there.
No tune amps and auto-tuners are perfect for this example. In my belts and suspenders preference, I also can watch the station with Skype video and a web cam, should the tuner need attention (or fault out).
