FWIW, I learned on mode B with the WB4VVF keyer.  Now, when I try to use
Mode A,  I often do not complete characters.

Whichever mode you select, practice, practice, practice, off the air.
Again, IMO the rhythm and spacing you use between letters and words will
make the difference in how easily someone can copy your sending.  It is a
lot like music.  The rests are just as important.
