Good Evening,
I took advantage of the rare sunny day to take a hike. Even though
it was mild there were no spider webs and few birds. I found many signs
the deer had been out before me. No elk sign though, I think one of
their hunting seasons is still open. The stormy week brought a great
deal of rain. Snow is in the forecast but not quite low enough for me.
By the time it reaches my elevation it will be slush or rain. I have
another 12 days.
We are in a stream of solar wind. The noise floor rose with steady
hissing and other odd sounds. QSB should be moderate and varied. The
forty meter net will be after dark for everyone east of me, plus a few
to the west :) I expect the band to be changing from the beginning of
the net until its end. 40 meters has been working lately, we can test
it again tomorrow.
