Good Evening,
The week had a little sun, a lot of rain, with enough wind to kill
the power. It has calmed down. Fall colors are past their peak.
Loggers are moving heavy equipment for the rainy season harvesting.
Helicopters to move Christmas trees will start soon. The deer and elk
have vanished due to all the activity. Hunters driving by on the hour
may have something to do with their absence.
The sun has very few spots, all of them are quiet. Flux is still
high. One spot on the back side of the sun is sending a series of
CMEs. None of them are aimed at us. Next week they will be pointed in
our direction. Day length and sun angle are changing quickly. Last
week twenty meters worked to the Atlantic Ocean as well as Portland,
Oregon. The forty meter net is getting closer to local sunset.
Propagation will change quicker than it did last week.
