Mike,

I didn't say a thing about filters. But since you brought it up--Not all
email clients are capable of isolating an email header such as
"List-Id". So "To:", "CC:", "Subject:", possibly others, used alone or
in combination, remain a more practical solution for most.

For example in Outlook express I have a dozen or so filters:

1. mail sent "To:" [EMAIL PROTECTED] gets flagged and highlighted nothing more
2. mail from elecraft is IDed by "To:" and "Subject:" content, then sent
to a folder
   (was "Subject:" only, that's how I noticed the change)
...

Careful crafting of the rule, and proper positioning in the rule list
makes everything happen just the way I want.
